<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel treatment apparatus wherein oxygen entering into the fuel treatment apparatus is removed to improve the safety and the stabilization of the apparatus the necessity of purge by an inert gas is reduced or the purge by the inert gas is saved and excellent cost performance is attained, and to provide an operation method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel treatment apparatus 1 for converting a raw material and fuel fluid containing hydrocarbon, alcohols or ethers into a hydrogen fuel gas containing hydrogen by a catalytic reaction has one or more catalytic reactors 1a, 1b respectively containing catalysts 2a, 2b inside and each of the catalytic reactors is provided with a deoxydation means 12 composed of a deoxydation material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
