PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip recovering device in a continuously-supplied water cutting off device which surely takes out the chip to the external without mixing the excess chip in a fluid conduit when cutting off the fluid conduit. SOLUTION: In this chip recovering device 5 in a continuously-supplied water cutting off device for cutting off the fluid conduit 1 in a sealed state, the chip recovering device 5 is composed of a mesh part 7 composed of a bendable elastic strip piece 10 forming an outer periphery and a soft mesh 11 mounted on the periphery of a strip piece 10, and an operating part 6 for moving the mesh part 7 between a sealing chamber 9 outside of an opening part and the inside of the fluid conduit 1 in the opening part through the opening part 1a formed on the peripheral wall of the fluid conduit 1, the elastic strip piece 10 is closely abutted on an inner wall of the fluid conduit 1 when the mesh part 7 is inserted into the fluid conduit 1, and the soft mesh 11 has a predetermined depth in the conduit axial direction.
