PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control structure for piloti form building with a lower story with no walls but just columns. SOLUTION: A column capital of a piloti part 2 and a lowermost beam 4 of a rigid upper story 3 are isolated. An isolation supporting part 5 capable of transmitting axial force for a long period is provided in the isolation part. A horizontal tie rod 6 is placed on the column capital of the piloti part. The tie rod is used as a lower chord member, the lowermost beam 4 of the upper story is used as an upper chord member, and a damper 7 is installed between them. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
