PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe connecting tool for a scaffold for eliminating the possibility that a connecting part slips out of a scaffold pipe even if engagement of a slipping-out preventive part with an outside surface of the scaffold pipe is released. SOLUTION: This connecting tool 11 has the connecting part 15 extending in a straight line shape to one end side. The slipping-out preventive part 17 extending in a circular arc shape is formed on the base end of the connecting part 15 via an extension part 16. A locking piece 18 is rotatably supported in a tip part of the connecting part 15. The scaffold pipes 12 are mutually connected when engaging the slipping-out preventive part 17 with an outer peripheral surface of the scaffold pipes 12 by inserting the connecting part 15 into a connecting part 14 of the scaffold pipes 12. Since both end parts of the locking piece 18 are locked on the outer peripheral surface of the scaffold pipes 12 even if engagement of the slipping-out preventive part 17 with the outer peripheral surface of the scaffold pipes 12 is released, slipping-out of the connecting tool 11 from the connecting part 14 is regulated, so that the connection of the scaffold pipes 12 is maintained.
