PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and stable equipment arrangement structure without increasing capacity of an upper swing structure in a construction machine, especially a hybrid vehicle. SOLUTION: The upper swing structure 12 is loaded with an engine 16 sideways such that a crankshaft 17 extends in the right and left direction of a machine body. A power generator 18 is connected to one end part of the crankshaft 17, while a hydraulic pump 19 is connected to the other end part of the crankshaft 17.
