PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a textile for chair upholstery having durability as a chair upholstery and good appearance as an interior material, excellent in air permeability, free from imparting a moist stuffy feeling. SOLUTION: At least a part of the textile for chair upholstery is constituted of weaves of doup weaving, and sets 16-200 cm<SP>3</SP>/cm<SP>2</SP>.sec of air permeability in JIS-L-1096 (fragile shape method). The thickness of weft 13 is set as 1.8 times of the thickness of the warp 11, 12, a composite yarn with a sheath core cross sectional structure such as chenille yarn (mole yarn), flocky yarn, ring yarn, slub yarn, etc., composed of the core yarn 14 surrounded with ornamental yarn 15 is preferred as the weft 13.
