PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance an operability when a seat device is operated from the approximately horizontal accommodation state to the seatable state. SOLUTION: An upper end of a seat back SB in the seating state and a rear end of a seat cushion SC are connected by a string member 23 and two helical springs (urging members) are provided at a front part of the seat cushion SC. The first helical spring 39 upwardly urges the seat cushion SC by smaller urging force than an own weight of the seat cushion SC and the second helical spring 38 upwardly urges the seat cushion SC by larger urging force than the own weight of the seat cushion SC. Thereby, when the seat is operated from the seating state to the accommodation state, a rear part of the seat cushion SC is jumped up. In the case of reverse operation, force for pulling up the seat cushion is made less and since they are connected by the string member 23, it can be made to the seating state by one operation.
