PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for vehicle which can change a distribution passage for air after an engine is stopped without using an expensive switching means. SOLUTION: In this air conditioner 1 for vehicle, after operation of the vehicle is stopped, a power MOSFET 5 is turned on (S250), a motor 14 is driven and a door 38 for defrosting a driver's seat (defrost blowout port 42 for a driver's seat) is set to the blocked state (S260). After the door 38 is set to the blocked state (YES to S240), a motor 16 is driven and a door 39 for defrosting a seat next to the driver's (defrost blowout port 43 for a seat next to the driver's) is set to the blocked state (S300). As a result, the defrost blowout port can be blocked, and fog on a windshield can be prevented. At this time, as the doors 38 and 39 are driven one by one, a current value flowing through a second power supply path 19 is small, and the power MOSFET 5 can be constituted by a low-cost switching element with small current capacity.
