PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image printer in which the turnover ratio of users is enhanced, and the user sufficiently utilizes the functions of the image printer. SOLUTION: Before the image printer 1 is utilized, it is accessed from a user's portable terminal and the contents of progress being required to be selected in photographing processing or edition processing are previously registered from the portable terminal. Identification information corresponding to the contents of a registered process is issued for the portable terminal. When the identification information is inputted from a user starting photographing, the contents of a previously registered process are read out and photographing processing or edition processing is performed according to the contents. When a specified photographing mode has been registered previously among a plurality of preset modes, for example, photographing is performed according to the registered photographing mode without requesting the user to select that mode.
