PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet head of an ink jet recorder arranged such that a bubble is prevented from standing in an internal ink channel and a standing bubble, if any, can be discharged readily. SOLUTION: The ink jet head 6 has the ink channel extending from a common ink chamber 7 to a nozzle 35 through a pressure chamber 36. The pressure chamber 36 elongated in the flowing direction of ink and an ink supply hole 38 located on the upstream side of the pressure chamber 36 and being connected to one end side thereof in the longitudinal direction are formed as a part of the ink channel. The part of the ink supply hole 38 being connected with the pressure chamber 36 guides ink, with an inclination angle, from the side in the pressure chamber 36 substantially opposite to the flowing direction of ink toward the end part wall 36c on one end side of the pressure chamber 36 in the longitudinal direction.
