PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel pipe pile that can facilitate erection of the steel pipe pile and prevent decentering even in ground of difficult-to-penetrate geology by forming a small diameter pile as a leader at a point portion of a steel pipe pile body, and is structurally simple and inexpensively manufacturable. SOLUTION: The steel pipe pile body 2 having a spiral blade 2a at least on a point portion periphery has the small diameter pile 5 at a point portion, and the small diameter pile 5 has a spiral blade 5a at least on a point portion periphery.
