The table (1) has short legs or feet (10) at each corner. There are six individual centering segments on the table top, each with a shallow frustoconical mound (4) in a flat square floor (2). There are small square holes (5) to accommodate the gripping arms of an industrial robot. Low dividing walls separate the six centering segments. A conical fastening peg (7) extends up from the end of each table, and engages in a conical bore in the table immediately above.
