PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for developing an electrostatic latent image manufactured by a wet polymerization method and having little odor. SOLUTION: In the toner for developing an electrostatic latent image manufactured by a wet polymerization method, at least one kind of compound selected from a group comprising fatty acid-2-mercaptoethylesters and dihydroxaphosphaphenanthrene 10-oxide is used as a chain transfer agent during polymerization.
