PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving handrail for a passenger conveyor for maintaining its improved safety, designing property and conveniences for a long period and being highly productive, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The moving handrail for the passenger conveyor comprises a plurality of first elastomer layer 2a, second elastomer layer 2b and third elastomer layer 2c using the same thermoplastic elastomer as a main raw material. The outermost layer as a decorative layer, namely, the third elastomer layer 2c, has a transparent core.
