PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera, main body and a method for assembling the same realizing minimization of the cost of a camera and the assembly and recycle cost of the camera. SOLUTION: The camera body 45 has a first inner electric circuit 44 with a first set of electric contacts 48 adapted to engage a second set of electric contacts 54 of a second outer electric circuit 50 and to cooperate therewith to perform a set of camera functions when the electric contacts 54 of the electric circuit 50 are held against the electric contacts 48.
