PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-noise pulley which reduces noise caused by elastic vibration generated when a rope is wound on the pulley. SOLUTION: The pulley which the rope is wound on is so structured that elastic vibration reduction means (an attenuation material 3 and a damping material 4) for reducing the elastic vibration generated when the rope is wound on a pulley body 1 are mounted on both side faces of the pulley body 1.
