<p>Compounds of formula are useful as anti-inflammatories, analgesics and antitussives, active against rheumatism and tussigenic respiratory disorders; they act upon connective tissue. R, R1, R2 have the following meanings: Cpd. 1 OH, 2,4-dinitrophenyl, H; cpd. 2: ONa, theophylline acetyl. H; cpd. 3 m-trifluoromethylanilido, -COCH3, H; cpd. 4: p-trifluoromethylanilido, -COCH3, H; cpd. 5 OH, -COCH3, 4-isobutylphenylacetyl; cpd. 6: OH, p-isobutylphenyl-acetyl, H. Cpds. 1,2, and 6 are prepd. from L-hydroxyproline and the halide of R1. Cpds. 3 and 4 are prepd. from N-acetyl-4-hydroxyl-L-proline and the appropriate aniline by diazotization. Cpds. 5 is prepd. from N-acetyl-4-hydroxy-L-proline and the halide of R2.</p> |
