<p>A wavelength-selective element (OS) is applied to the surface of the radiator, and has a high hemispherical emissivity, a low absorptivity for infrared radiation from a black radiator with a temperature between 500 K and 700 K, and a low solar absorptivity. The wavelength-selective element comprises a cutoff wavelength below which the incident radiation is substantially reflected, and above which the radiation is absorbed.</p> |
