PURPOSE: An over-pressure safety system is provided to reduce costs and achieve improved accuracy of performance by permitting the over-pressure safety system to have an over-pressure safety function and a gas injection function. CONSTITUTION: An over-pressure safety system comprises a horizontal hole(79) of a governor(70) of a portable gas range; a safety spring(78) arranged at the horizontal hole, and which elastically supports a valve member(74); the valve member which moves in a horizontal direction when the internal pressure of the gas container has reached a preset pressure level; a seal ring(77) for sealing the gap formed between a flow channel(79a) and the safety spring; a cut-off ring(76) for cutting off a gas flow by tightly contacting a cut-off ring stopper protrusion(79c) of the horizontal hole when the internal pressure of the gas container has reached a preset pressure level; an open/shut ring(75) for opening/shutting a gas inlet groove(73b) of an open/shut member(73); the open/shut member having the gas inlet groove corresponding to the open/shut ring; a valve stem seal ring(72) for sealing the outer surface of the valve stem when the gas container is mounted; and an injection port(71) for allowing for a tight contact between the valve stem seal ring and the open/shut member.
