<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a cartridge opening/closing door which ensures an effective cartridge-attachment/-detachment operation area even at a small opening angle and satisfies a light shield function when closed. <P>SOLUTION: In the opening/closing door for attaching/detaching the image forming cartridge of an image forming device, a light shield wall which is provided on the back of the door and blocks outside light is turned or moved accompanying the opening/closing of the door, and when the door is in a closed position, the door maximumly bypasses the locus of the attachment/detachment of the image forming cartridge. Alternatively, in the opening/closing door for attaching/detaching the image forming cartridge of the image forming device, the light shield wall which is provided on the back of the door and blocks outside light can be swung around a mounting root. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
