<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fuel for an internal combustion engine, which is friendly to the environment and controls corrosion in the internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel for the internal combustion engine comprises 50-75 wt.% of alcohol components of isopropyl alcohol, isobutyl alcohol and n-butyl alcohol and 25-49.9 wt.% of a hydrocarbon component and has≤-20°C flash point. The fuel containing the high-concentration alcohol preferably comprises 50-60 wt.% of the alcohol components and 50-49.9 wt.% of the hydrocarbon component. The alcohol components preferably comprise 15-30 wt.% of isopropyl alcohol, 15-25 wt.% of isobutyl alcohol and 7-20 wt.% of n-butyl alcohol. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
