PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cement admixture with which the water-reducing properties and operability of a cement composition or the like can be made excellent and the strength and durability of a hardening body thereof can be made excellent as well, and which therefore can suitably be used for ultrahigh strength concrete. SOLUTION: The cement admixture contains a polycarboxylic copolymer. The polycarboxylic copolymer is obtained by copolymerizing a monomer mixture containing (A1) a polyalkylene glycol of 10 to 94 mass%, (B) an unsaturated carboxylic monomer of 1 to 40 mass%, and (C) a polyaminic monomer of 5 to 40 mass%.
