PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographic lens for compact camera which is set so that an f-number is 4, the angle of view is about 65°, and the total thickness of lenses is about 0.5 times as large as focal distance and whose aberration is excellently corrected. SOLUTION: The photographic lens is constituted of a 1st positive lens L1, a 2nd negative lens L2 whose concave surface faces to an image surface side, a 3rd lens L3 being a positive meniscus lens, while a diaphragm is put in between, and a 4th negative lens L4 whose concave surface faces to an object side, a 5th positive lens L5 bonded with the lens L4, a 6th negative lens L6 whose concave surface faces to the object side and a 7th positive lens L7 bonded with the lens L6 in order from the object side.
