METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING Ni POROUS BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an Ni porous body by which a productivity of the Ni porous body can be increased substantially by degreasing and baking a green sheet in a short time. SOLUTION: By providing a green sheet forming step (A) for forming the green sheet by impregnating slurry including an Ni powder and an NiO powder into a sheet-like foamed resin, and a degreasing and baking step (B) for carrying out degreasing and baking at the same time by retaining the green sheet for a fixed time after increasing temperature up to a baking temperature, the degreasing and baking step (B) is carried out under the atmosphere of a gas with which Ni is reduced and carbon is oxidized. This gaseous atmosphere is a superposed portion of an Ni reducing region and a carbon oxidizing region in the Ellingham diagram, and is an atmosphere of an ammonia cracking gas in which CO2 gas is mixed or is H2 gas atmosphere.
