PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an adhesive for a flexible flat cable (FFC), having excellent adhesion to a PET (polyethylene telephtharate) film and copper plated with tin, heat resistance, cold resistance, flexing resistance, and blocking resistance, especially capable of obtaining stable adhesive strength in a wide temperature range from a low temperature to a hot temperature, and used for the FFC and a FFC reinforcing plate. SOLUTION: This adhesive for the flexible flat cable contains (A) a crystalline polyester resin which has a number-average molecular weight of 5,000-50,000, a glass transition temperature of <20°C, and a melting point of≥50°C and (B) a compound having a phenolic novolak skeletal structure, wherein a mixing ratio (in weight) of the component (A) to the component (B) satisfy: (A)/(B)=50/50 to 99/1.
