PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for restricting a horizontal movement without restricting a vertical movement and without being shocked, when an elastic body is added to a seismic isolation device having the function that a lower sliding plate and an upper sliding plate come into contact with each other and relatively slide. SOLUTION: The elastic body 6 is arranged between a lower supporting plate 4 and the lower sliding plate 41. In addition, a member 7 to be restricted is arranged between the sliding plate and the elastic body. The member to be restricted and supporting bodies 8 are connected by means of the supporting bodies 8 fixed to the lower supporting plate and coupling members 9, such that at least two wires fixed to the supporting body by winding the wires around an outer periphery of the member are restricted on the opposite side of the supporting body.
