PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generating apparatus which dispenses with a resource and having no danger. SOLUTION: Iron balls 3 are rolled into a cylinder 1 from an inclined gondola in such a manner that the iron balls 3 are abutted onto a spring stopper, the spring stopper comes off by the impact, the spring is expanded, and the iron balls 3 are carried up and into the gondola. The iron balls 3 are gathered in the center of the gondola, the gondola 5 becomes heavy, and rapidly falls down. At this time, the gondola pulls up a pulling up wire 8, a gear feeding plate is pulled up, and a gear is rotated. A large number of the cylinders 1 are provided in a large cylinder 9, and a plurality of the cylinders are arranged. The respective gears are connected to a shaft, the rotating force is gathered, and the turbine is rotated through a transmission mechanism such as the gear. Thus, the power is generated.
