Described is a circuit breaker, comprising a molded case composed of a main case (1) and a cover (2); first and second terminal parts (3) to be connected to a power supply and a load, respectively, said terminal parts being disposed at two opposite ends of said molded case; main contacts (14) for making or breaking contact between said first and said second terminals parts (3); and a control mechanism (15, 16) for switching said main contacts, said control mechanism being disposed between said first and second terminal parts (3).
