CURVED BRAKE DISK WITH INVOLUTE VENT LINE

PURPOSE: A curved brake disk with an involute vent line is provided to improve braking and radiating efficiency and reduce noise by forming the convex curve in the center of the disk body and bending the involute air passages, and to increase bending rigidity by arranging intake holes in left and right sides. CONSTITUTION: A vent line(3) is formed radially in a body(7) of a brake disk, and intake holes(5) are formed around a hub(9) of the brake disk. The convex curve is formed radially in the center of the brake disk body. Intake holes are arranged alternately at both sides of the body. The width of the vent line is increased gradually in the radial direction, and involuted backward. A disk contact surface of a brake pad is recessed, and combined with the convex curve of the brake disk in contacting the brake disk to the brake pad. Braking force is improved by enlarging the friction area between the brake disk and the brake pad.
