<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toner supply method by which the defect of a developing device by a conventional technique is made up by specially improving a toner supplying part in the developing device in an image forming method by which many sheets of images are repeatedly formed in a high speed recorder of an electrophotographic method and an electrostatic recording method or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device of an electrostatic recorder possessing a toner hopper part storing toner to be supplied to a developing part and a turnable toner supply port for supplying the toner hopper part with the toner from outside, possesses a shielding plate capable of being opened and closed between the toner supply port and the toner hopper part, and the movement of the toner supply port is fixed by the shielding plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
