<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bring an electric motor into non-connection condition with a rear wheel side when not driven by the motor, so as to eliminate braking feeling during traveling, in a drive for driving a rear wheel side by the electric motor independent of an engine that is a driving means for front wheels. <P>SOLUTION: In this drive in which the connection of the electric motor with the rear wheel side by an electromagnetic clutch is blocked when a vehicular speed reaches to a prescribed value during four-wheel drive travel of a vehicle, the connection of the electromagnetic clutch is blocked, and the connection of the motor with the rear wheel side is blocked, so as to prevent the braking feeling from being generated, when the motor is changed from a motor driving condition to a power generation operation. Hysteresis is imparted to a set vehicle speed for turning on add off the electromagnetic clutch to prevent hunting in ON-OFF control. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
