MAGNESIUM GALVANIC ANODE AND ELECTRIC CORROSION PROTECTION SYSTEM USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a hand auger-type energized electrode for electric corrosion protection small in radius and light in weight and to enable the enlargement of ground contact area.

SOLUTION: A magnesium galvanic anode 1 is constituted by casting a magnesium alloy for electric corrosion protection around a long-sized mandrel 5. Therein, a cylinder 3 having a conical tip and a screw 4 disposed around the cylinder 3 are constituted coaxially with the mandrel 5 into one body and a revolution fixture fitting part for revolving the anode around an anode shaft is disposed on the upper part of the cylinder 3.
