<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection pump 1 which can be built in various engines without increasing kinds of cylinder 10. <P>SOLUTION: An annular groove 14 communicated with a first fuel passage 23 installed to a housing 20 and a second fuel passage 11 installed to the cylinder 10, and coaxial with a plunger 30 is formed on a joint face 10a of the cylinder 10. A plurality of male screw holes 24 screwed with bolts 40 for fixing the cylinder 10 to the housing 20 are installed to the housing 20 at equal angle intervals on a perimeter of a pitch circle 24a coaxial with the plunger 30. Thereby, a fixing position relationship of the housing 20 and the cylinder 10 are rotated around the shaft of the plunger 30 corresponding to an engine. The first fuel passage 23 and the second fuel passage 11 are always communicated with each other corresponding to the engine via the annular groove 14, so that the pump can be built in different engines without increasing kinds of the cylinder 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
