<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a player to easily play and practice a musical instrument to determine the pitches of musical tones according to the combinations of operations of a plurality of playing operating elements like a trumpet. <P>SOLUTION: Playing pistons 11 to 13 are built to the upper central part in the longitudinal direction of a housing 10 of a trumpet shape. The end face on the near side of the housing 10 is provided with an air vibration detector 24 to be inputted with speech. The player inputs the speech to the detector 24 simultaneously by operating the playing pistons 11 to 13, by which the combinations of the operations of the playing pistons 11 to 13 and the musical tones of the pitches determined by the frequencies of speech signals are produced. Rings 17 to 19 which are formed of transparent or translucent resins and are made to emit light by lighting of light emitting elements 21 to 23 are built to the roots of the playing pistons 11 to 13.
