<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of simplifying its constitution by shortening the sheet transporting path and decreasing the number of component parts and of enhancing the printing efficiency at double-side printing. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device includes a double-side printing unit 160 composed of a sheet transport guide 103 to constitute one side wall of the first sheet transport path A for guiding each sheet so that it passes a developing unit 30, an auxiliary sheet transport guide 170 installed confronting the other surface of the sheet transport guide for using the other surface of the sheet transport guide 103 as the second sheet transport path B whereto the sheet with the single side printing finished is re-intruded to the developing unit, a sheet reverse transporting roller assembly 180 installed between the other surface of the sheet transport guide and the auxiliary sheet transport guide for transporting the sheet so as to re-intrude into the developing unit, and a sheet transport part 120 installed at the point where the first and second sheet transport paths intersect and transporting the sheets transported both from a pickup unit 106 and the reverse transporting roller assembly to the first sheet transport path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
