PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high-quality photographed image by easily and inexpensively compensating an astigmatism caused by a window having cylindrical surface shape in an image photographing system which must be installed behind the window having a cylindrical surface shape. SOLUTION: Between the transparent window 3 having the nearly cylindrical surface shape and a video camera 2 arranged behind the window 3, a cylindrical lens 4 having the shape and optical characteristic nearly equal to that of the window 3 is arranged so that the bus directions of the window 3 and the cylindrical surface may be orthogonal to each other.
