PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed matter measuring apparatus capable of accurately correcting shading even if variations occur in the light quantity of a flash light source. SOLUTION: In the correction of the light quantity variations in the printed matter measuring apparatus, the light quantity variation ratiosμαandμβof two white reference plates provided at a far location and a close location of the light source are computed in a step S11. Interpolation computation is performed on a light quantity variation ratioμat a predetermined location on the basis of the light quantity ratiosμαandμβin a step S12.
