PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simplified optical system capable of generating a plurality of beams of same intensity from one laser light, and to provide an inexpensive laser marking device using the optical system, and capable of applying the plurality of lines of light. SOLUTION: This four-beam generation optical system is configurated by a light source generating the collimate light and a triangular prism. When the collimator light is entered from an apex angle side of the triangular prism, the light is partially reflected to two directions by two prism side faces through the apex angle of the prism, and further the light entered inside from two side faces of the prism is refracted, and divided into two directions from a prism end part, to be emitted.
