PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve installing workability of a valve device, and to reduce vibration and noise, in a refrigerator equipped with the motor-driven valve device. SOLUTION: This refrigerator has a heat insulation box 6, and a refrigerant circuit comprising a compressor, a condenser, a decompressor and a cooler, or the like. The refrigerator is installed with the motor-driven three-way valve 72 changing over a refrigerant flow passage in the refrigerant circuit. The three-way valve 72 comprises: a valve body 121 connected to the refrigerant circuit; and a motor part 122 attachable/detachable to/from the valve body, driving the valve body. The motor part 122 is provided with a bracket 128 for installing the motor part 122 to the heat insulation box 6. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
