PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caster stopper eliminating a necessity for an operator to lift a holding object and capable of stopping movement of the holding object while readily and safely loading a wheel of a caster. SOLUTION: The caster stopper comprises a stopper body 20 having a wheel loading part 24 for loading and holding a wheel, a projection part 26 formed in a periphery of the wheel loading part 24 for preventing the wheel from extruding the wheel loading part 24, and a notch part 28 formed in the projection part 26 for moving and introducing the wheel onto the wheel loading part 24, and an open close operation member 30 incorporated in the stopper body 20 with capability of opening and closing the notch part 28 of the projection part 26, and for closing the notch 28 while loading the wheel on the wheel loading part 24.
