PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fluorine-containing arylamide ether polymer being a novel super-engineering plastic having heat resistance and low moisture absorbability, and a provide a manufacturing method therefor, and to obtain a fluorine- containing compound having a novel amide bond and becoming a raw material of the fluorine-containing arylamide ether polymer. SOLUTION: The fluorine-containing compound contains the novel amide bond and has a plurality of pentafluorobenzoylamino groups and is represented by formula (1) and the fluorine-containing arylamide ether polymer contains a repeating unit represented by formula (3) [wherein R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>are same or different and each a divalent organic group and numerals (m) are same or different and show the number of fluorine atoms added to a benzene ring and are each an integer of 1-4].
