<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium which materializes a favorable recording characteristic at linear velocities in a wide range and is applicable to a recording reproduction device of a CD-R standard, and also to provide a method for manufacturing the optical recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical recording medium having at least a light absorption layer on a substrate, the layer meets the following pyrolytic characteristic A, and contains two phthalocyanine compounds (I and II) which are different in light absorption capacity at a recording reproduction wavelength (780 nm), and a phthalocyanine compound (III) which meets the following pyrolytic characteristic B. As to the pyrolytic characteristic A, a pyrolytic temperature (thermal weight change temperature) measured by a thermobalance is in the range of 200°C ≤ temperature <300°C (a temperature rises at 10°C/min). As to the pyrolytic characteristic B, a pyrolytic temperature measured by the thermobalance (thermal weight change temperature) is in the range of 300°C ≤temperature <350°C (a temperature rises at 10°C/min). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
