<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an inorganic coating film having excellent low-temperature curability, high-temperature water resistance and surface strength without using a sol-gel method. <P>SOLUTION: A composition containing (a) one or more compounds selected from organosilanes, aluminum alkoxides, titanium alkoxides, zirconium alkoxides and their partial condensates, (b) one or more metal complexes selected from aluminum complexes, titanium complexes and zirconium complexes and (c) an organic solvent is applied to a substrate without adding water to the composition and the organic solvent is evaporated to obtain the coating film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
