摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for conveniently manufacturing a reflective or transflective liquid crystal display equipped with a backside substrate having a directional reflector, having high luminance and contrast of a display picture and generating no running of color. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the liquid crystal display at least includes a pattern latent image forming step to form a photosensitive adhesive layer with adhesion property on one surface of a base material for the backside substrate and to expose the photosensitive adhesive layer with a specified pattern, so as to vanish the adhesion property of exposed parts, a transferring step to fix a transfer sheet consisting of a supporting body sheet equipped with the releasable directional reflector on a surface thereof on the photosensitive adhesive layer with pressure so as to make the directional reflector be in contact with the photosensitive adhesive layer and to transfer the directional reflector only to unexposed parts of the photosensitive adhesive layer by releasing the supporting body sheet and a cutting off step to stick a front side substrate thereto and then to obtain individual panels by cutting off. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
