DEICING COMPLETION DETECTOR OF AUTOMATIC ICE-MAKING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably detect completion of deicing without being affected by any change of an ambient temperature. SOLUTION: A deicing completion detector 58 is disposed on a water tray bracket 29 and an ice-making chamber bracket 14. The deicing completion detector 58 is disposed on a fitting plate 59 disposed on the water tray bracket 29 so that a detection member 60 abutted on a front side of ice cubes S on the surface side in a water tray 12 is turnable. The detection member 60 is turned and urged by a torsional spring 62 in a direction so that a detection piece 60a is always abutted on ice cubes. A detection switch 55 is disposed on a portion facing a front side of the water tray 12 of a guide bar 63 disposed on the ice-making chamber bracket 14. When ice cubes are separated and dropped from the water tray 12, and the detection member 60 is turned by the elasticity of the torsional spring 62, a working piece 60b is abutted on a detection lever 55a to detect deicing completion by the detection switch 55.
