PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ice-making machine having scoop holding parts for minimum reduction in the ice storage capacity. SOLUTION: An ice-making unit (6) is provided on an upper part of an internal space of a heat insulating box (2) of the ice-making machine, and an ice storage unit (7) to store ice pieces produced by the ice-making unit is provided on a lower part of the internal space, and the ice pieces from the ice-making unit are shifted to the right side of the internal space and dropped into the ice storage unit. A water discharge tray (8) to receive water from the ice- making unit is provided between the ice-making unit and the ice storage unit, and scoop holding parts (H1-H5) to hold scoops (S) for taking out ice pieces in the ice storage unit are provided on the left side of the ice storage unit of the heat insulating box below the water discharge tray.
