PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine case, eliminating the need for providing a drain trap in an exhaust pipe, allowing the exhaust pipe to have a high flexibility and simplifying a piping structure. SOLUTION: A drain sump 35 is provided in an air vent passage 21 formed in a gear case 1. The drain sump 35 is communicated with the outside of the gear case 1 via a drainage sump passage 31. No need therefore exists for providing the drain trap in the exhaust pipe 4 connected to the air vent passage 21 via an exhaust hole 5, and the exhaust pipe 4 has a high flexibility and the structure of the exhaust pipe 4 is simplified.
