PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection amount detector with a simple structure, capable of easily miniaturizing, being non-contact type causing no abrasion, being easily adaptable to a place under severe temperature conditions, having little fluctuation of an output by external magnetism, and capable of being manufactured easily. SOLUTION: A coil (1) is disposed so that the detection of the fuel injection amount is captured by a change in an overlap part of a conductor (2) or a magnetic body or a non-magnetic conductor. Then, a pulsed voltage is applied thereto to charge or discharge a condenser (4), and a time needed for the voltage at the time of discharge to exceed the threshold of a comparator (5) is converted into a voltage.
