PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a failure determining device for a vaporizing fuel treatment system, avoiding a determination error and improving determining accuracy when determining failures including the leakage of the vaporizing fuel treatment system after the stop of an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: The failure determining device 1 for the vaporizing fuel treatment system 20 for temporarily storing in a canister 24 vaporizing fuel generated in a fuel tank 21 and determining whether a failure occurs or not in the vaporizing fuel treatment system 20 to be supplied for an inlet pipe 5 of the internal combustion engine 3, comprises an ECU 2. The ECU 2 determines whether a failure occurs or not in the vaporizing fuel treatment system 20 depending on tank internal pressure PTANK detected after the stop of the internal combustion engine 3 (Steps 31-57) and prohibits failure determination (Steps 19, 32) when a fuel consumption USEDGAS or a travel distance DIST is smaller than a preset determination value GASJDEOX or DISTJD during operation before the stop of the internal combustion engine 3 (NO to Step 14 or Step 17).
