PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid matter inserting member which has stacking and carrying resistances, reduced material and manufacturing costs, little influence on environments, and a good appearance when being bound in a booklet body, and also to provide a solid matter bound-in booklet body. SOLUTION: A hole for housing a solid matter is formed in a corrugated fiberboard member formed by laminating a plurality of flat papers and corrugating paper parts. Belt-like corrugated fiberboard members are provided on the outer edge section of the corrugated fiberboard member under the state that the corrugating sections of the belt-like corrugated fiberboard members form their front and rear surfaces and their flat papers form their outer edge surfaces. In addition, the belt-like corrugated fiberboard member is formed by cutting one sheet of the corrugated fiberboard in a rectangle comprising rectangles with a same width formed by cutting parts cut except the front or rear surface of the flat paper in parallel in longitudinal directions and connected to one another.
